AM House is a contemporary tropical residence designed around light, airflow, and material warmth. A central courtyard brings natural light deep into the home while promoting cross ventilation throughout the living spaces. Exposed red brick, timber finishes, and roster screens create a layered architectural language that balances openness with privacy.
Located within a dense residential neighborhood in Cinere, the project responds to the client's wish for a house that feels airy and connected while keeping a sense of comfort and privacy.
At the heart of the home, a light-filled courtyard acts as both a visual anchor and a source of natural ventilation, letting daylight reach deep into the interior and keeping a continuous dialogue between indoor and outdoor spaces.
The material palette is intentionally restrained. Exposed red brick introduces texture and warmth, timber finishes soften the spaces, and roster screens filter light and provide subtle layers of privacy, aging naturally to enrich the house over time.
